This is my first attempt at a leopard mani and considering I’ve done it without a nail art pen I thought it wasn’t too bad for a first try – until James said my nails look like ladybugs. I know my black squiggles are too thick and are more like dots so he’s probably right.
I’ve done this ‘look’ with American Apparel Neon Coral and Yellow, and Barry M Black. The American Apparel polishes are quite thick and reminded me of Tippex correction fluid when it starts to gunk up. These probably weren’t the best polishes to try something new with but I love the bright colours although they dry matte. I am going to give this another go, Lily aka Beauty’s Bad Habit suggested I use a black liquid eyeliner next time. I’ll do what she says – she knows stuff!
So what do think Leopard or Ladybug?

Another thing to try is dipping a toothpick in your polish and draw with that x

Just wanted to let you know that I finally tried one of the body butters that came in the set from my latest haul, and it’s great! I really like it! I said I’d let you know how it was when I tried it so thought I’d tell you via comment.

I hope this is the post you wanted me to see. I’ve done a leopard print nail art tutorial on my blog which details how I do leopard print nails. I use a dotting tool to create the outline of the print. No fancy nail art pens needed! Hope that helps!
