Yes it’s true, these are the latest additions my growing family of lip balms. It’s not my fault – I completely blame Crazy Rumors for making such beautiful tubes of Vegan and Cruelty Free loveliness that I can’t resist. Orange Juice – My original OJ lip balm went missing when my friend Lauren came over for one of our weekly catch-ups. I didn’t even get to smell it before it jumped in her handbag. I’ve since bought her a stash of her own and this one is mine. I better water mark it though just in case.
Pink Grapefruit Juice – This is zingy and refreshing and is a nice little pick me up for those early morning work journeys.
Amaretto - This is an after dinner lip balm, it’s rich and decadent but with zero calories.
Mocha – This smells exactly like my favourite Starbucks drink – Venti Skinny Mocha. Who is the genius that decided to put coffee and chocolate together? I know James would like get his hands on this but he can forget it!

I used to wear lip stick on a regular basis but as I’ve gotten older I’ve avoided it and concentrated more on my eye makeup. Wearing lipstick also prevents me from kissing James as he can’t stand it. I also wouldn’t wear lip stick to work as I would look like a clown! Most of the women at my work place either wear no makeup at all or just a bit of mascara. Hibiskiss offers a good solution for someone like me who might want a bit of colour on their lips but can’t be bothered with lipstick. (Left) Hibiskiss Tropical – This is like a lovely berry lip stain. I wore it on an evening out and I didn’t have to re-apply as much as I thought I would. This gave me a hint of colour and shimmer without being garish.
(Right) Hibiskiss Sunset – This is perfect for day wear, it’s not too dark and it again lasted longer than I expected. I wore it to a funding surgery (don’t ask) where I was yapping away all day with community groups and I didn’t feel the need to touch it up until after lunch.

The Soda Pop range is the newest incarnation from one of my favourite lip balm makers Crazy Rumors. The new range was inspired by fizzy soda fountain flavours and comes in Cola, Root Beer, Ginger Ale, and Black Cherry. I was sent Ginger Ale and Black Cherry by a PR company to test them out.
Ginger Ale reminds me reminds me of the 7UP lip balm I lost when I was 11. It has a lovely zesty smell and I can almost feel the ginger ale bubbles up my nose. This is a great alternative to to the usual lip balm flavours on offer.
Blacky Cherry smells like the black cherry Kool Aid again from my childhood. In my opinion cherry lip balms can go either way sometimes they smell sweet or they can smell like cough syrup. This one is somewhere in between. Not too sweet and not too mediciny.
